Indoor Activities at Home

Does anyone have any indoor activities at home they suggest for a 15 month old? The weather has been very wet and rainy and we have have run out of activities to do at home.

We do a lot of coloring, making shapes out of construction paper, etc at our house. You can get the big rolls of paper and roll them over the floor. Or you can put down the plastic you use when painting and let the kids finger paint. You can just put them in the tub after and let them continue painting in there while getting clean. We also do a lot of dress-up (halloween costumes are great) dance parties. Turn up the tunes and dance with the kids. Playdates are wonderful too because the kids will play with each other for hours. Invite one or two of your child's friends over to play. The moms will love the break and then the next time you can swap!
