His diaper runneth over

My 15 month old overflows his diaper almost every night. What are some solutions?

We are using Huggies overnights but by the morning his sleeper is wet and the diaper weighs about 10 pounds. He is in 4's which fit him just fine, should I put a 5 on him at night?

Hi Chuck Cheeze,

I would recommend putting him in a diaper one size bigger in the evening. If that does not work I would try putting 2 size 4 diapers on him in the evening. That should help.

Good Luck

We have the same problem when our daughter has a lot of fluids during dinner. We just put 2 diapers on her, and it seems to work out.

BTW, pampers cruisers seem particularly bad at night time. I think it is because they are designed for movement, so the "cuts" for the belly and legs are more generous.

My son has been doing the same for months. We use a size bigger Pampers Cruiser + a diaper liner at night and that helps.
