Going rates for childcare/house help
Does anyone have a childcare provider that also helps around the house?
Also, I realize rates vary by location, but does anyone know what the going rate is for this type of job in the San Francisco Bay Area? I am looking for childcare/household help one day a week--someone to watch my child in the morning and then help out with some house stuff while my child is napping. Nothing major, just doing her lunch dishes, cleaning up her toys, maybe folding a load of laundry. I know the going rate in the area for childcare is $15-$25/hr for one child, but I am not sure about childcare + minor house help when the child is sleeping? Any idea?
