Is it OK that my son is drinking some bath water?

My boy loves the bath, always has. But recently he has taken to filling up a small toy cup (that we usually use to dump water on him and wash the soap off) with water and imitating mom & dad by tipping it back and drinking it.

Most of it falls away but he is really drinking a decent amount of bath water. Should I take the cup away?

My daughter does this as well. It's a tough one because you do want them to drink from a cup. Just not one filled with bath water. We now let her fill her cup with water from the bath faucet and drink that. It did take a couple of days reminding her that she could only drink the "fresh" water if she wanted to drink and that the bath water was not ok to drink but she caught on. She loves the water out of the faucet and I figure at least she is getting her fluoride!
