How to get my son to eat Vegetables

My son will not eat vegetables. I try at dinner and he will spit it out of his mouth. He does not like the texture of peas, broccoli, and carrots. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get my son to eat vegetables?

Have you tried mashing them to change the texture?

Try mixing peas in with spaghetti or mac and cheese. Have you tried a yam or sweet potato? They are easy to boil, skin and mash up and are also on the sweet side so that may work. Also, another idea is to try at breakfast when he is really hungry. Give him some peas before his regular breakfast and see if he will eat them. Good luck!

My 25 month old son objects to the texture of veggies too. I decieded that if the only way to get him to eat a vegetable is out of a baby food jar then so be it. I give him jars of baby food (veggies only) just to know that he's getting them in his diet. I keep trying to give the regular veggies too because I know that at some point he'll get over the texture objection. The jars of veggies just give me a little peace of mind that he's got veggies in his diet.
